Project Zip Code is a user friendly, privacy secure CD-ROM computer program that counts your members and matches them with state legislative districts as well as congressional districts. These counts are then uploaded to CUNA’s Project Zip Code website and combined with data from other credit unions nationwide. As a result, it illustrates the number of credit unions members in each district and assists with credit union advocacy programs. 

 

To date, Project Zip Code has identified tens of thousands of credit union members in Mississippi.  But, only 100% Mississippi credit union participation in Project Zip Code will allow us to accurately account for the more than half-a-million Mississippi credit union members.  MCUA strongly encourages all credit unions to run the Project Zip Code program at least once a year.
