President/COO

MariCorp U.S. President and Chief Operating Officer, Kyle Wilkerson, is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of company-wide sales, production and installation.

Kyle joined MariCorp U.S. in 2007 as a Regional Project Development Manager, bringing with him experience as a sales associate in many different industries, extensive background in new construction methods, and insurance knowledge.

Kyle’s marine product knowledge and work ethic quickly made him a prominent member of the MariCorp U.S. sales staff.

In 2012, Kyle was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer. In addition to running the daily plant operations, Kyle regularly inspects ongoing project sites, and maintains close relationships with marina owners.

Kyle also dedicates countless hours supporting the local Kansas City community through his efforts with the Kansas City Chiefs Red Coaters.

Melanie Ashby
VP of Business Development

Melanie joined MariCorp U.S. in December 2009 as Vice President of Business Development as a result of her success freelancing for the company as a research analyst and opportunity developer.

Her current duties include sales team management, market research, market analysis, new business development and product development.

Melanie is invaluable aiding in new marina design as well as product research and development because of her extensive knowledge of boat docks and marinas, the environments they reside in, and the needs of marina owners and boaters. Additionally, she has been a great resource to our customers due to her knowledge of the intricacies of regulatory agencies, their practices and procedures.

Melanie brings a varied professional background to her position. She parlayed her agriculture degree from Missouri State University into leading an arboriculture business for nearly 14 years. She then became a Real Estate Broker specializing in recreational real estate development and sales, commercial and residential real estate sales, and REO asset marketing. Then, she discovered a passion for the maritime industry focusing on analytical market research specifically for marina construction and land development before joining the MariCorp U.S. team.

He then accepted the position of General Manager of a modern 150 slip marina on the Mississippi River, where he developed the financial, environmental and engineering expertise required in the marina business.

For the past 28 years, Larry has successfully managed complex marina construction projects and remote sales teams across the nation. His approach to the business is simple…he doesn’t build docks, he builds relationships.

Ed Snyder
Regional Sales Manager

Ed comes to us after spending the last 20+ years at the Abbey Harbor on Geneva Lake, WI. Here he managed a 417 slip harbor and also ran the Abbey Yacht Club. Ed brings a unique expertise with him to MariCorp US; having extensive experience in project management; including overseeing a 2017/2018 complete renovation of the Harbor facilities, which earned him the Building and Growing Award from Marina Dock Age Magazine, as well as a complete overhaul of the yacht club’s outdoor pool and pavilion space in 2019/2020. He also led the marina to successfully obtain its “Clean Marina” certification through the Wisconsin Marina Association. Ed’s time as a harbormaster has allowed him to view each project with MariCorp US through a different lense, having lived that side of things himself. During his time with the Abbey Harbor, he earned his Certified Marina Manager Certification and was also an active member in the Wisconsin Marina Association and Wisconsin Clean Marina Program.

During his free time, Ed likes to boat and swim with his family and is active in coaching youth sports in the area. Ed also works with Children’s Oncology Services to host an annual boat day on Geneva Lake. The water is where Ed’s heart has always been and he looks forward to continuing to provide others with the same opportunity to enjoy it through his work with MariCorp US.
